You’re a helper, and you care. You just need more tools that help you bring relief to your clients. They might have sensitivities to medication, food intolerances, and many other concerns, but you’ve got solutions. As an acupuncturist, you provide care for pain management, women’s health, chronic illness and particular physical, mental, and emotional conditions. With these healing skills, you can enhance wellness for patients as a Doctor of Acupuncture. Let your education from MUIH broaden your toolkit, so you can offer more.
The Doctor of Acupuncture program is designed to educate and develop graduates to meet the growing need and opportunities for well-trained Chinese medical practitioners to serve in numerous types of integrative medicine settings across the country. Graduates will achieve full clinical competency, with competencies in the domains of research literacy, advanced diagnostic studies, systems-based medicine, and professional development, along with an enhanced clinical training.
What can we do to improve the quality and length of the lives of the men we know and care about? What can be done to empower boys and men of all ages to feel and function their best? I believe the answer lies in many areas, not the least of which are healthy lifestyle interventions.
“I plan to be apart of the narrative that advocates for advancing new paradigms of healing and wellness by way of clinical treatments, research, marketing, and/or legislation across the country.”
-Haneefa Muhammad, student in the Doctor of Acupuncture program
