Maryland University of Integrative Health 2022 Research Symposium

Maryland University of Integrative Health’s Research Symposium is an annual event that highlights the University’s research and scholarship.
In order to reach all faculty and students, this year’s event will be virtual. The event kick-off will include access to posters and live presentations on April 8th from 4:30-8pm EDT. The live event will be recorded and the event will continue through April 15 with online, asynchronous poster presentations and discussion (link to be sent out in March).
The live webinar event on April 8 will feature:
- Keynote Speaker: Kimberly R. Middleton, RN, MPH, MS, a Nurse Research Specialist at the NIH-Clinical Center, Translational Biobehavioral and Health Disparities Branch, will be speaking about Perspectives on Health Disparities Research in Integrative Health.
- MUIH Research Update: The Director of Clinical and Academic Research for MUIH will present an update on recent research activities at MUIH and in collaboration with partner institutions.
- Faculty Excellence in Research and Scholarship Awardee: We would also like to congratulate this year’s winner of the Faculty Excellence in Research and Scholarship award: Professor Heidi Most, D.Ac., L.Ac., Dipl.Ac. (NCCAOM). She will share with us her research efforts this past year during the virtual event.
