Leandro has been in private practice since 2015, focusing on providing personalized, data-centered, and evidence-based clinical nutritional intervention and lifestyle modifications aiming to optimize metabolic health with a concentration on men's health and performance. At MUIH Leandro has been a Teaching Assistant since 2017.
My journey into nutrition and functional medicine started when I was confronted with a health challenge. During that experience, I was awakened to the power of food and nutrition as medicine and how lifestyle has a tremendous impact on our health.
Since then, I have been studying and promoting my passion for empowering people to take charge of their health and wellness using food, exercise, and lifestyle changes with the end goal of uncovering a fully energized individual who can do whatever they want to do for as long as they want to.
I specialize in science and data-based low-carb and targeted, personalized nutrition solutions for people, especially men dealing with metabolic imbalances like diabetes, insulin resistance, and performance and cognition issues.
In 2023 I will be graduating with a Doctor of Clinical Nutrition (DCN) degree at MUIH.
