How do I enroll in PCE Courses?

  • PCE Canvas Catalog is the platform you will use to enroll in PCE course(s); access your in-progress and completed PCE courses through Canvas; and retrieve your certificates of completion. As a PCE Learner, you will have a PCE Catalog Student Dashboard and Catalog account.
  • Canvas is the MUIH online learning platform where you will engage with your PCE course learning content, including instructional videos, course materials, discussions, instructor communications, etc.

What is the difference between Canvas and Catalog? Canvas is a learning management system or LMS. This is where the course information, content, grades, and assessments live and breathe. Catalog is more of a storefront for continuing education courses and a learning dashboard tool for students. This is where you can register and pay for your courses, access your courses, track your progress, and retrieve your certificates. Together, the two systems work seamlessly and provide you with all the tools you need to achieve success as a PCE Learner.

To enroll in a PCE course, start by going to the MUIH PCE Catalog landing page which lists all current PCE offerings.

Once you are on the MUIH Catalog landing page at, you will notice that there are numerous continuing education courses to choose from – you can click the “Load More” button to show additional courses.

You can scroll through the listings or click “refine” to filter the options by selecting free, paid, open enrollment or a certificate from the top menu bar. You can also sort the options by alphabetical order, start date and price. If you know the name of the course you are looking for, you can type the title in the search field and click Enter.

(Note: PCE offerings and listings change periodically, so we suggest you bookmark for future reference and sign up for the PCE subscriber list [BR1] for notifications and special offers.)

When you click on the individual course listing, you can read more about the course or program, or click Enroll to add the course to your Shopping Cart and then finalize checkout and submit payment via credit card or PayPal. (Note: You may choose to add more than one listing to your Shopping Cart at a time before check-out.) If you have a promo code for a discount, enter it before completing payment.

After completing enrollment and payment, you will then receive confirmation emails for each enrollment, and you can log in to your PCE Catalog Learner Dashboard to at to access your courses at any time. (Remember to check your “spam/junk” folder if you do not see emails to your primary imbox). Note: Courses with a start and end date will only be accessible during the specific course period; self-paced, on-demand online courses will be available immediately upon enrollment from your Catalog Leaner Dashboard.

Can I earn CEUs through PCE?

Learning never ends for complementary and integrative health practitioners. MUIH Professional and Continuing Education programs provide ongoing professional development opportunities for practitioners in a variety of different fields. These programs are developed with a primary focus on learning and application. MUIH Professional and Continuing Education (PCE) programs award Continuing Education Units and non-credit Certificates instead of academic credit upon successful completion of each course. These CEUs are often accepted by various national and international professional organizations toward meeting ongoing professional development requirements in their respective fields.

As an accredited institution of higher learning, MUIH PCE awards its own CEUs based on the MUIH CEU Philosophy. You may refer to the individual listing details for the # of MUIH CEUs awarded and for any additional details on established CEU approvals we have formally verified through external licensing boards and professional organizations. It is the ultimate responsibility of the individual to verify CEU eligibility and approval with your respective professional board or organization for any PCE offering. We recommend you first contact your professional board or organization directly to verify CEU criteria and eligibility requirements and reach out to the PCE Department at with any further questions.

Additional details about MUIH PCE CEU approvals may be referenced on our 2023 CEU Guide.
