If you feel there is or may be an immediate threat, call 911. Then inform the MUIH CARE team after the immediate concern is addressed. For valuable resources that are available 24/7, we encourage members of our community refer to our University’s ULifeline. If you are concerned about a university student, faculty or staff member, we encourage you to fill out the referral form.

What to Expect

Any member of our community can refer a student, faculty, staff, or other University-affiliated person. Once the CARE team is in receipt of a referral, our first step will be to obtain and evaluate the information you provide and thoughtfully determine a plan for addressing the concern. In most cases, we will conduct caring, thoughtful outreach by a member of the CARE team.

Other Support Services

Our Office of Student Support and Advocacy is dedicated to providing valuable resources and support for students experiencing personal barriers to success for any reason. Students may schedule and appointment with the Dean of Student Affairs Michelle Coleman for referrals to support services specific to the student’s needs and goals.
