Dr. Van Lare has more than 6 years of experience in the field of nutrition. She has a private practice and CNS mentorship program, and teaches a variety of topics at the masters and doctoral levels. She is a member of MUIH's Research Symposium Steering Committee.

Areas of particular interest include anxiety, bone health, and nutrigenomics.

Dr. Van Lare enjoys learning in all forms. She enjoys kayaking, hiking with her rescue dog, gardening, reading, being creative in the kitchen, crafting, cribbage, and spending time with families and friends.
