Are you experiencing distress or concerned about an MUIH student? We can help. Please visit Student Support and Advocacy/CARE team.
Please note: During the COVID-19 pandemic, ongoing Counseling and Wellness Services are available through telehealth to students located in Maryland and waivered states. If we are unable to provide services in the state where a student is currently located, we can provide referral information and/or consultation services to help locate local providers and services where a student is currently residing.
The mission at Counseling and Wellness Services, is to assist students in their personal and academic growth by supporting their emotional well-being in a safe, supportive, and affirming space.
Counseling and Wellness recognizes the diversity and beauty of the intersecting identities in our MUIH community. We are deeply committed to promoting the affirmation and inclusion of all, through the provision of culturally sensitive services and programs in a safe, supportive, healing environment.
