Over the past few years as Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH) has grown, it has accelerated its investment in institutional infrastructure including people, systems, and facilities. Taking the next big step, MUIH will be expanding into two office suites on the first floor of a brand new building in Maple Lawn, a 600-acre mixed-use business community in Howard County, Maryland.

Just three miles down the street from MUIH’s Main Campus in North Laurel, the Maple Lawn Campus is designed to reflect the mission, vision, and values of the University. This newly rented space is 10,070 square foot and utilizes energy efficient resources, maximizes natural light, and features seasonal and nature-themed art.

“I was pleased to be part of a small committee of MUIH staff asked to help with the design choices for the new campus,” said Creative Director John Wilson. “Keeping with the school’s connection to nature, we began with a color palette that is warm and natural and one that contributes to a calm yet productive work environment.”

Along with offices for faculty and staff, who are scheduled to move this month, the new campus will include a number of spaces that may be utilized by the MUIH community, including a large community room, conference rooms, and a quiet room for meditation and privacy.

The Maple Lawn Campus will house a mix of academic and administrative departments and offices including Nutrition, Integrative Health Sciences, Health and Wellness Coaching, Health Promotion, Yoga Therapy, Research, Digital Learning and Faculty Engagement, Assessment and Accreditation, and Human Enrichment.

“We are very pleased to be able to expand our facilities in a way that maintains our commitment to community and offers our faculty and staff a pleasant and efficient work environment,” said Marc Levin, CFO, who orchestrated the entire move, from negotiation through move-in.

Located at 8115 Maple Lawn Boulevard, Fulton, MD, 20759, the Maple Lawn Campus will be open Monday–Friday 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. Open houses will be held for faculty, staff, and students. Dates will be announced soon.
