Chef’s Tip:
- Toast spices before adding them with black tea and water. This will also increase the depth of taste.
- Add a pinch of cayenne or red pepper flakes to increase circulatory and anti-inflammatory health benefits.
- Add marshmallow root, reishi, and/or cacao for more health benefits, or for a more earthy taste.
- To prepare without caffeine, substitute black tea for dandelion root, burdock root, or tulsi (holy basil)
