For more than 40 years, Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH) has been dedicated to educating practitioners and health seekers in complementary and integrative health through transformative, relationship-centered programs.
The Office of Professional and Continuing Education (PCE) supports MUIH’s mission by delivering progressive educational programs, fostering mutually beneficial partnerships, and expanding opportunities for fulfilling, successful careers for complementary and integrative health (CIH) practitioners. PCE offers advanced, distinctive, skills-based, noncredit programming leading to relevant credentials and real-world application. Designed to provide superior quality, rigorous assessment, and educational innovation, PCE programs uphold the University’s commitment to excellence in teaching and learning. As an agile incubator, PCE seeks to embody the University’s entrepreneurial spirit and aims to represent MUIH as a global leader in CIH education.
Many programs offered by the Office of Professional and Continuing Education provide CEUs accepted by most professional boards, including those for naturopathic doctors, physicians, acupuncturists, nutritionists, dietitians, counselors, health coaches, social workers, and massage therapists.
