MUIH Launches First Doctoral Degrees in January 2015
Maryland University of Integrative Health is pleased to announce today that it will now offer doctoral degrees. Three new doctoral programs have been approved by the Maryland Higher Education Commission and permission to offer them has been granted by MUIH’s regional accreditor, Middle States Commission on Higher Education.
David Winston to Speak at MUIH
David Winston, an ethnobotanist and author with 45 years of training and practice in clinical herbalism, has graciously accepted our invitation to visit at MUIH and will speak on Herbal Pain Management. Open to all on a space available basis, this program is offered for free as a gift to you from MUIH and David.
Associate Professor Receives Award for Her Innovative Approach to Online Education
Bevin Clare, associate professor and clinical herbalism program manager, received an “Effective Practices” award at the 11th Annual Online Learning Consortium (formerly the Sloan Consortium) Blended Learning Conference and Workshop for her submission, “Student-Driven Case-Based Learning.”
